Hygiene Guidelines at Our Martial Arts Academy

At our academy, we value respect, safety, and care for one another, both on and off the mats. To ensure a clean and safe training environment for everyone, we kindly ask all students to follow these simple hygiene rules before entering the dojo:

☆ Shower before training. Come to class fresh and clean.

☆ Keep your nails short and clean. To avoid accidental scratches or infections.

☆ Cover skin conditions. If you have eczema, psoriasis, or any other skin issue, please make sure it is properly covered.
(We all know that eczema and psoriasis are not dangerous, and they cannot be passed on to others. Still, not everyone recognizes these conditions, and it may cause discomfort or uncertainty for training partners. Covering them is simply a matter of respect, comfort, and consideration for others.)

☆ Wear clean training clothes. Out of respect for your training partners.

☆ Stay home if you feel sick . Training while ill puts others at risk. Remember that your training partners also have jobs, families, and loved ones at home. Passing an illness on can affect more than one person, it can spread to whole households.

As a true warrior, you must recognize when your body needs rest. Knowing when to pause is not weakness, it is wisdom, strength, and respect for the people around you.

Because martial arts is a partner-based practice, maintaining good hygiene is not just about yourself, it's about protecting others. Nobody wants to risk unnecessary scratches, dirt, or infections during training.

We kindly but firmly ask all students to put hygiene first as they enter the dojo. This way, we create a healthy, respectful, and safe space for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
